World No. 2 Rafael Nadal posted a video of him playing tennis in the backyard of his home in Mallorca with his sister.
The coronavirus pandemic has put a hold on all sporting events but athletes all around the globe are looking for new and innovative ways of keeping themselves fit and active while being locked down in their homes.
World No. 2 tennis player Rafael Nadal for example, has devised a way to play the sport inside the confines of his home just by using two chairs.
Nadal posted a video on Instagram in which he can be seen playing tennis with his sister Maria Bel in their backyard.
The duo used two chairs as a net and were involved in an intense rally which included volley exchanges as well.
Nadal is also doing his bit to contribute in the fight against the deadly virus, which has now claimed nearly 63,000 lives worldwide.
Nadal has been working on the #NuestraMejorVictoria campaign which he launched last month with six-time NBA All-Star Pau Gasol.
The initiative, which forms part of the #CruzRojaResponde (Red Cross Responds) project, aims to raise 11 million euros and help citizens in need during the coronavirus health crisis.
Ace tennis players like world No. 1 Novak Djokovic, Roberto Bautista Agut, Feliciano Lopez, David Ferrer, Garbine Muguruza and Carla Suarez Navarro have donated money in the campaign so far.
Nadal even thanked Djokovic for his contribution to the campaign last week.
A huge thanks to @djokernole for the contribution to the #nuestramejorvictoria campaign helping those in need in the fight against Corona Virus.
